Well, Thank GOODness!

Quick reminder of three giveaways here, here, and here.

Little Miss recently had a dentist visit her school, and she's been very proud of this visit. She tells all of us about it all the time, and she's begun to lecture us on what the dentist taught them.

My mom relayed this little tidbit earlier today from a conversation she had with Little Miss:

LM: Grandma, did you know we had a dentist come to visit my school?
G: Yes, Princess, you told me about it.
LM: You have to brush your teeth every day to be sure you don't get cavities.
G: You're right, that's very important.
LM: And you can't eat junk food. Sugar is bad for your teeth.
G: Did the dentist explain why?
LM: Yes, he did. There are lots of things you shouldn't eat. You shouldn't drink pop either. And you shouldn't eat candy or chew ice.

At this point, she paused a bit, apparently thinking very hard.

LM: But Grandma, it's ok. You can still drink wine.

Thank God Grandma can still drink wine. I hope that goes for me too!

Melisa - Yeah... because she's SO into her wine ;)

A Musin Mom - Diet wine? Seriously? I don't think I *want* there to be a diet wine.

Betty - No kidding. And she was thinking so hard to come up with that, too.

WeaselMomma - So you aren't disappointed that she didn't tell my mom it was ok for her teeth to drink beer?

Unknown Mami - There are definitely days when wine is required. I'm glad to know it won't be forever forbidden according to Dr. Little Miss!

Sue - It goes for everyone, I think. Small children excepted, of course; both wee ones know there is no alcohol ever until they're adults.

That's hilarious! Imagine if she said that to Grandma in the church pew? Couple of eyebrows raised possibly...

Yay for that!

Kelly - We're Episcopalian. No issues saying something like that in church ;) Wherever there are four gathered in my name, there's a Fifth.

Pat - Ummm yeah. My poor mom doesn't even really drink!

Alexis - Thanks. They have such a great bond.

Gina - I thought so. I have to wonder if she said something to the teacher at school....

Karen - Ummm she's been doing that for awhile. I keep asking myself the same thing.
