Oh, What Games They Play
The wee one are getting to the age where I sometimes allow them to play by themselves for a few minutes at a time while I get things done -- make dinner, clean, do laundry, grab the mail, and so forth. When I go in search of them at the completion of my tasks, I sometimes happen upon interesting sights.
Unfortunately, I've only captured a few on film but, I still want to know where this creativity comes from.
It's a car. No, a space ship. No, an elevator. Oh, I know! It's a race car. Hmmm. I give up!
If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands! Wait, clap your feet? Why are you wearing socks on your hands? OHHHHHH we're cheering for the Vikes! Ok, go for it!
It's pictures like this that remind me that I need to carry my camera more often. Oh, and keep it charged. Like my iPod, it does me no good when the batteries are out!

Looks like they are having fun. And so far it looks like just good "clean" fun!
sweet kiddos!
Oh my goodness, that last picture is priceless. Good for blackmail when he's older!
There's my girl... GO VIKES INDEED! I bet it was her that made them win this weekend :-)
Great pics!
Cookie - Ohhhh that was punny! Love it!
Jori-O - Welcome! And thanks :) Here's hoping they stay that way.
Sydney - There are pleeeeenty of pictures of him for blackmail when he's older. Of course if I haven't printed or filed any of them by then, it'll all go to waste!
Jeff - Yup, that's her. And if you ask her who her favorite team, she dutifully yells the TWINS! And you have no idea how torqued a three year old can be that she doesn't have a Vikings shirt until you've seen this one. Luckily, I realized that Mister Man had outgrown one of his and it mostly fits her ;)
So fun to catch these moments!! Cute pictures and your kids are so beautiful!
See ya - Kellan
Your kids are the cutest. It's good to know that kids are kids all around.
Kellan - Definitely fun. Although they break out the bad kid "cheeeeeese face" whenever they see the camera, so it's a bit of a challenge :) Thank you!
Karen - Thanks! And yep, kids are kids are kids.
