The Little Stinker!

Do you have or know a little girl? There's a brand new line of dolls out there, and I'm giving one away with my Hot Locks giveaway!

There is also a brand new giveaway for probiotics here.

This afternoon, Little Miss called out to me from the other room, with a huge smile on her face.

Mommy! I love you.

That was it. Just that simple statement that she periodically throws out there to me. It makes me smile every time, and I responded as I frequently do.

Do you know what, Peanut?

You love me, too, Mommy! comes the delighted shout from the other room. She loves playing this game, and who can blame her?

You know it! I'll always love you no matter what, forever and ever.

She went happily back to her play, and my husband at this point poked his head up, indignant that he hadn't been included in the declarations of love.

Well, what about me, Little Miss? he inquired.

Yeah.

That was her only - and somewhat enthusiastic - response, as she'd already gone back to playing. I giggled. Or possibly belly laughed.

That is too funny! Rick was just complaining that the boys don't love him :) ... lol

My youngest does this type of thing on purpose with kisses and hugs while she whispers to me "Let's make Dad jealous".

Too funny! Dads have such a hard time...

So cute. But wait until she's 13 and asking him for money: I suspect at that point you might get the shaft. You better start making it clear that Mommy has the bigger wallet. :)

Love it! Poor Daddy. Better him than you, though.

That's awesome! Cherish these days. Luke used to play the "I love you most" game with me and he's now sadly outgrown it.

Alexis - Poor guy. At least let him know that he isn't alone.

WeaselMomma - I have a feeling we'll be headed to that kind of deviousness soon with Little Miss. Always fun to play those games, right?

Tara - Oh they do, but hey, this is nothing compared to the teen years!

Melisa - Wellll there is that. Then again, hopefully she knows that Mommy is in charge of the money, too :)

Unknown Mami - Absolutely. It's always better when it's someone else....

Karen - What, you mean they eventually grow out of it? No, tell me it isn't so!

Pat - Yep. That's it exactly.

Jenn - Apparently it's more common than we'd thought. Poor guy.

That's cute. Jillian has been giving my husband a tough time with the "I love you's" lately. She insists that she only says that to girls. We'll see what she has to say about boys when she's sixteen.

Kelly - I think that's sweet that she's recognizing the difference between girls and boys... and of course how she's interpreting that. And let's not think or talk about 16, ok?
