Necessity Is The Mother Of Invention

Before I get started, quick reminder that I have a green gift bag giveaway going on here.

***

Ok, so you have to turn your head sideways to view it... or turn your monitor sideways. I can't figure out how to flip it. Computer genius anywhere?

Anyway, this is a trick my husband has apparently used on multiple occasions when he has let the wee ones go to bed without putting a balloon up high. Our cats can't resist chewing on ribbon.

I found out about it when the wee ones asked me to get out the fan to save their balloon. I just looked at them with a blank face until Daddy came home and uhhh fixed it.

I like how this keeps the kids entertained. Cool trick. I'll have to remember this one! Daddy probably says, "Look how easy it is to keep the wee ones happy!" Wish it was always that easy :)

My husband has done the same thing! Those men are pretty handy dandy some days! Cool trick!

HI-larious! I enjoyed hearing the kids' squeals of delight. Great trick, dad!

That is cute! Their squeals of laughter and excitement are the best!
Daddies are awesome like that

So out-of-the-box. I love it. And I loved the "Go, Daddy, Go!" sweetness :)

Why do Daddies always get to be the cool ones?! Great trick!

Daddy's apparently a genius!

I loved how they were cheering him on. :)

Kelly - It keeps them entertained but do NOT try to put the balloon back up there. They're convinced each time that they'll never get it back.

Mary - Really? I thought my husband was the only weird one to think up this trick -- and I mean that in the nicest way to your husband. It's really not at all how my brain works!

Pat - Yeah, they were happy. I'm just glad the video didn't show giant dust clouds blowing off the chandelier!

Emmy - You're right. Daddies do a pretty good job of getting those squeals!

Barb - Umm absolutely. It was pretty cool!

Debbie - Come on over and hang out with us. Sadly, they don't want to do it more than once, but ... it was fun while it lasted!

Unknown Mami - Including some things you'll never have any use for like this one, huh? ;)

Nichole - Always? C'mon now! I can be a pretty cool Mommy when I choose to.

Cookie - Yeah, but who's the not so smart person who keeps leaving the balloons where the cats can chew the ribbon and get the balloon up there in the first place?

Melisa - Yep, in fixing odd things anyway but I'll take it! Much better than the whining that would otherwise result. And yes, they are VERY supportive of each other and Daddy and anyone else who's working hard.
