Ahhh, The Sleep Of The Innocent
Last night, I peeked into Little Miss's room to see if she had either of the cats sleeping with her. And I had to capture evidence of her sleeping. Fortunately, the flash only made her stir and didn't actually wake her up.
How in the world can that be comfortable?
Do you notice that she's sleeping with her knees off the ground? I don't think I could do that if I tried.
And Bugs? Right on her face. Then again, that is my Bugs that I got when I was two years old from Kiddie Kingdom, so who wouldn't want to snuggle with a carnival cheap thirty year old stuffed animal?
Poor Snowy is smooshed underneath her. This is obviously not a case of the Princess and the Pea.
I do know that she's my daughter though, since she's got her hand up by her head just like I do each night.
And as I look more closely, I can see that she's been playing with her lamp again. I'm going to have to have a talk with her about that. At least the monkey isn't hanging from it this time....

Precious! She must be comfy if she's sound asleep. I have one of my daughter at about the same age with her feet up on the bunkbed ladder. Have a great Wed!
They do get in the craziest positions when they sleep. My oldest (12 years old) still sleeps with his legs like that sometimes. Cute how she rests her hand just like you do. I like taking photos of when the kids sleep.
she is nice and worn out and that is a good thing !!!
That is an adorable picture!
yes that is truly the sleep of the innocent - she is a cutie!
Ahh, the sleep of the innocent. Nothing nicer!

This make me smile, thanks :)
Cute! I take pictures of my boys sleeping all the time...I could never sleep in HALF the positions they find comfy!
What a cute picture. I love to see little kids sleeping, they look like such angels.
Too funny! The positions my kids get into when they sleep never cease to amaze me. Oh, to be that flexible!
It's amazing how they can sleep, she's so cute. And a belated happy birthday to your little princess on the pea too! The party sounded like a blast.
So Cute!
Lol!! It's so funny to watch them change positions. Yesterday, the toddler had his butt in the air and was two centimeters from the edge of his bed. I thought for certain he would be on the floor by morning.
Kids sleep in the weirdest positions. My personal favorite is the butt-up.

Megryansmom - I don't think I could sleep that way either. Interesting position!
Kelly - That's impressive that your 12 year old still does that. I remember having some somewhat odd sleeping habits, but I think I outgrew them before 12. Hold onto that childhood!
Feener - Very true. The whirling dervish does exhaust herself eventually!
Laura - Aww, thanks!
MaBunny - You're so kind. I can only imagine the aches and pains I'd end up with if I tried that.
Christi - No, and I hope she stays this innocent forever!
Katie Lane - I aim to please :) Glad you like it.
Colleen - I'm with you! I have to head to the chiro often enough as it is. Sleeping like that would be a disaster.
Terry - Don't they? Sometimes, it's the ONLY time they look like angels though, isn't it?
Fishsticks and Fireflies - Yeah, and to think that once upon a time, we WERE that flexible!
Stacey - Thanks! The party was definitely fun. I'll replicate it at home in a few years, I think.
Cookie - Thanks!
Hyacynth - Ohhh, that doesn't sound comfy at all. And I'm guessing he ended up just fine in the morning, right?
Karen - They do. None of my kids have been tummy sleepers, so we don't end up with those positions. That's definitely a cute one though.
Love it!
Looks like a good idea to me. I dream of taking a nap. ha!
Mark and Kyle both sleep with their knees up like that-so goofy! :)
I swear that kids and husbands can sleep anywhere and in any position.
Brenda - Oh yeah, hilarious about the lamp. *sigh* Independent little cuss that she is :)
Unknown Mami - And yet neither of us could sleep like that, could we?
Jeff - Dream? C'mon, you're a guy! All you have to do is *think* nap and you're out!
Barb - Still? That cracks me up actually. I think of odd sleeping positions really just with little kids.
Weaselmomma - Amen. They absolutely can, and it DRIVES. ME. NUTS. I can't nap to save my life!
