We read books for different reasons. Sometimes it's to learn, sometimes it's to escape, and sometimes purely for entertainment. There are also the books that force us to take a wide eyed view at our world and recognize that there is a world out there beyond what we see on a daily basis, as The Kid by Sapphire does.
