Wordless Wednesday - Mister Man's Photos

Mister Man has had the opportunity to be a part of a photo "competition" that requires him to take photos that we need to narrow down to his favorite 25. In the course of a little over a week, I let him borrow my Sony A33 several times to take photos.

He took over 1,300 photos in that time. 1,300.

Many of them turned out like this:

But we also ended up with some like this.

I'm a proud mama.

  1. Many of my photos turn out like Mister Man's first shots too.

I really love his photo of the trees. I like how they line up across the shot and not straight down the middle. His portraits are wonderful too.

  2. Hi Michelle, That's A LOT of photos to select from. I can't imagine narrowing it down but there are some very fun shots in there. LOVE the Lego one. It made me smile. So dod that sweet faced astronaut!

    Happy weekend, xo jj

  3. When we got our new camera, I let my daughter have the old one because I was tired of deleting 500 pictures of her dolls at tea. I still get the occassional odd photo on my camera, lol.

  4. I like the ceiling lamp one and the Little Miss ones. The trees at school (?) are cool, too.

  5. Tara - He took 1300 pictures, and I think his portraits are definitely some of the best. There are plenty that we're just deleting now though ;)

    Susie - Aww, thank you!

Joanna - It's a ton, but there were also a lot we could just rule out easily. I was initially concerned we'd find 25 that would work at ALL!

Laural - Oh how fun that she has her own camera though. It is interesting to see the world through their eyes, no?

Pat - The ones of Little Miss were wayyyy cool, I thought. The trees were at a local place but not a school - I like the way he got them to line up. :)

  6. Wow, he did a great job, seriously! I love the one of (I'm assuming) his Grandpa or Uncle laughing? Awesome!

  7. Heather - Thanks! Yep, that's his Grandpa, and I think it's such a cool photo that he caught all on his own. I love Little Miss peeking out in the background, too. Because she can't stand to not be a focal point ;)

  8. I somehow ended up on this old post and re-read my comment. I realized there's no ceiling fan photo...I must've meant the ceiling light fixture. I knew what I meant, but just didn't write what I meant!
