This morning, I went into Little Miss's room to open her shades to let the light in. She'd already gotten dressed, made her bed, and straightened her room (ummm I run a tight ship, what can I say?), so it was easy to spot anything out of place.
When I peeked at her nightstand, I started giggling.
Yep, that would be her toy Buzz. The plastic one. He's somewhere inside, drowning in the Buzz Lightyear costume from her Build-A-Bear. I really wish I could peek inside her head sometimes.

That is so cute! What a clever thing to do.
Hi Michelle...
I thought this was adorable. My daughter used to have this thing for Jessie. You know in Toy Story 2 when Jessie is telling the story of Emily (I'm pretty sure that was her name)about best friends and Emily "grew out" of Jessie. My daughter was the "Emily" to her Jessie. I am tearing up just writing this =( I am a HUGE bawl bag everytime time Jessie sings "When Somebody Loves You". Ohhh gawddd..it's going through my head now. Hold on a minute...
Okay, I'm back. Had to get a kleenex. ((sighs and blows)) Anyway, there will ALWAYS be a special place in my heart for Toy Story. I will not even mention how many kleenex (did I use that right, it shouldn't be kleenexes or anything right? I know what a stickler you are on grammer. J/K)I used in Toy Story 3. I will not ruin it for those who have not seen it. All I got to say is I have a senior and Andy goes to college. There I said it. ((sighs and blows..again))
Anyways..thanks for you comment. I have never thought about scheduling them to post in advance! GENIOUS!! Thanks for the tip. I likey...=)
Aw, that is so sweet.
Happy weekend, jj
Oh that's so sweet! My son loved Buzz! I'm stopping in from Saturday Sampling... Have a wonderful weekend!
Now who doesn't love Buzz Lightyear. Very cute.
Ah, that's something we can never do. But it would be fun.
Are all your posts this creative? This charming? This inspired? I've got to "follow" and see.
I hopped in from Saturday Sampling. I've really enjoyed your sample (if you couldn't tell)! Mine is Strawberries, Chocolate and a Captive Audience. See you there!
Looks like you have a very clever little girl on your hands!
Poor Buzz. I'm sure he's wondering what the heck happened!
Miss you. Love you. Hope to see you soon! :)
The idea of Buzz dressed as Buzz is actually funnier than Buzz dressed as anything else. That girl is awesome.
And I love you for making the kids be so responsible.
Debbie - I don't know if I'd call it clever, but it did crack me up.
L0serm0m - Ohhh I love that part of the movie (and yes, it's Emily; we just saw it for the first time last weekend). Glad you liked my suggestion! :)
Joanna - I thought so. I'm glad I took the picture when I did, as she put the Buzz costume back on her Build-A-Bear yesterday afternoon.
Katharine - How do you not love Buzz? That whole crew is such a great bunch of guys.
Matty - I'm with who. How can anyone not love Buzz?
gaelikaa - Never? Hmm, this I'll have to investigate.
Sharon - Ummm that's a lot of pressure. And considering that this has been my crabby week, I'm going to have to go with no. But stick around anyway! :)
Emily - She is a clever girl; sometimes she doesn't realize how clever, but I'm ok with that!
Mrs4444 - I think he is, too. He suddenly shrank! See you in a few weeks, no?
Karen - I figured you of all people would most appreciate this. It cracks me up!
He does look king of snuggly in his own "sleeping bag." Cute :)
Kelly - I love the idea that it's a sleeping bag. I think that ahhhhh "fits" better than anything else! :)
Now Buzz has an outfit to grow into...lol! Little Miss is quite creative.
how sweet - stopping by from Saturday Sampling
That is so cute!
Pat - It might take him awhile to grow into that though! :)
Heather - I thought so. It's VERY much her personality.
Tara - Yeah. Do you like how I cleared out (some of) the background clutter from the photo, too?...
That's not a tight ship, that's a concentration camp with their own bed. Try letting a kid be a kid, ok?
Anon - To each his own, but it's important to me that the wee ones know they are a part of the family and have responsibilities in it. Oddly enough, they actually like making their own beds. They feel really good about themselves once they've done it.
