What Month Is It Again?

It is May, right?

I ask only because Mister Man came out of his therapy session today clutching an envelope that included an invitation to an open house for a district special education forum. They were holding a resource vendor fair, filled with all sorts of special needs vendors from recreation to therapeutic and more. It sounded like a really great source of information - with over 30 vendors participating.

Except that it occurred over a month ago.

Then again, it was addressed to the parents of someone who goes by the nickname of his name (which he doesn't). Who also has his same middle name, but... well, spelled differently.

It's been one of those weeks.

A tad confused on the name thing-- but we all have days, weeks, months like that.

I totally forgot about my sons little league pics this weekend.

Mommy of the year?... yes, right here my friend. RIGHT. HERE.

That IS weird!

I can appreciate that. I feel at least a month behind!

Gah. That's frustrating.

Oops. Maybe you can get on a mailing list for the district special education events like this.

That's pretty ODD!

Corine - It's my pet peeve. His name is not shortened, but teachers and therapists do it all the time without asking us. And after I explain that he does NOT go by his nicname. Boo. But hey, at least there's little league again next year, right? I mean, c'mon, how many years of those pictures do you need anyway? ;)

Susie - Yep. I saw later that there was a stamp on it. From March 30. Apparently the school took six weeks to deliver it.

Debbie - I think they're just going with the weather. Because it feels like March in Chicago still!

Tracey - Yep. But hey, knowing my schedule, I probably couldn't have made it anyway, so it's ok. More funny at this point.

Pat - I'm on the one for our home district, and I hadn't even thought about doing anything for this one. It's not a bad idea though.

Heather - You don't know how long I stared at ODD trying to figure out what diagnosis that was for. Ahem. I'm doing a ctrl-alt-del on my brain now!
