Ummm, What Was I Saying?

Are you a fan of sweet? Like kettle corn perhaps? Go enter here!

I'm a list person. I love making lists, and I love to cross things off the lists.

Earlier today, I was brimming with ideas for blog posts. If I remember correctly - and at this point, who knows if I do or not - I had a good five posts in my brain.

And now? I can't think of a single one of them. I composed many of them in my head even, and some of them were brilliant (I can say this now, as there's no proof to refute my statement). My mind has gone blank.

While musing over the posts, I debated opening Blogger and drafting the start of a few of them. I decided that wasn't necessary. I need to rethink that a bit. Oops.

Don't you hate it when you can't remember what you were going to say? And I can't even blame pregnancy brain.

I do hate it when that happens. But now that I have my iPhone, I've learned to jot these ideas in a note so they don't abandon me faster than I can blink. :)
Really liked reading your tweets today about Babwconnect.

I do that, too--frequently thinking about great blog posts I will write. The ideas often come to me when I'm walking (I walk for 90 minutes a day at least 5 days a week), and I even have the first few sentences in my mind, and it seems so brilliant. Then when I start writing it up in MS Word it seems more lame than brilliant. Or else I've forgotten that fantastic idea. Maybe I can attribute that to the fact that I was a math major, not an English major.

I'd say it is "mommy brain". LOL! I do that, too! I think I can remember that list in my head - uh, no! LOL!

Have a great weekend!

It's scary how often I'm forgetting my thoughts mid sentence. I better walk around with post it notes or something :)

Hyacynth - I've actually done that alot with my Droid. Color Notes rocks. Assuming I remember to use it ;)

Pat - Ooooo I like that attribution. I was econ and psych, so English wasn't something I spent a lot of time in?

Melisa - Hey, as long as it's the first and not the 80th, I'm ok!

Sherry - I do the same thing with shopping, thinking I can remember and it will be easy but not so much sometimes!

Kelly - The only problem with those Post-It notes? Then you lose the notes with the good ideas ;) Or at least I do!

I think mine never came back this last time :)

Alexis - You are so not alone... I wonder if there are brain gnomes, similar to the sock gnomes....
