To Do Or Not To Do...

Today I will finish my to do list.

Or at least as much of my to do list as I'll get complete for awhile. This is my last day of "vacation." In fact, my vacation ends today at noon when Little Miss climbs off the bus and our normal schedule resumes. No more both wee ones out of the house and time for me to do what I want and need to be done.

In the next four hours -- after I get Little Miss onto the bus, of course, and Mister Man dropped off at preschool, I have quite an impressive plan.

First, I will stop by the library to get Eclipse. Yep, I may have been number seven on the hold list, but somehow the book came in for me the day after I finished New Moon. I'm thinking this may be the end of my productivity, but ... I've got plans.

I also need to stop by four local businesses that have promised donations for the wee ones' Cinco de Mayo fundraiser at preschool. Of course, one of them is ten minutes south of me and another ten minutes north of me. It's hard to complain when they're donating though, isn't it?

Oh, and I can't forget that I am supposed to be volunteering at our local elementary school's rummage sale. In exchange for volunteer hours, they share the proceeds from the sale with the wee ones' preschool. I've spent ten of my "free" hours there so far this week.

I also need to do some more weeding. I had the entire front landscaping, in addition to most of the north side of the house and half my garden free of weeds. And then it rained. And rained. I'll show pictures of the damage tomorrow. Let's just say that I invested in Preen when I stopped at Costco this week.

Most importantly though, today I will be sure that Little Miss naps. She has to nap today. Her napping is the only way I can read, Eclipse, after all. Well, unless I skip the rest of my obligations and instead hang out at the library to read.

I wouldn't do that though, would I?

Wow that's some to do list. Maybe tomorrow I'll make a to do list, then again maybe not. Might just use this Not Swine Flu excuse for a few more days.

You know now that you have the book nothing else will get done.

Oh my, I hope you're not up all night reading Eclipse! Sorry that your vacation is over, but wow, you were incredibly productive! I'm super impressed. And anxiously awaiting your review of book 3. LOL!

I'm betting you got... oh, one thing done. Hahaha! Have you finished the book yet? ;)

Can't wait to hear what you think of Eclipse! I am re-reading it now. Loved it - three and four are my favorites in the series. Enjoy!

Did you get it all done? I love it when I have a good book to read! I love that you volunteer and help out so much.

Jill - Would you believe that I forgot to take them? Tomorrow... after I get home from the rummage sale. After I skip out for t-ball. I figure when I leave the house at 7:15, there won't be enough light to see them :)

JamieH - Sadly, I haven't opened Eclipse yet. I did go to the library... but not until after running 5 other errands with Little Miss -- including picking up two donations for our fundraiser and dropping off my bike for its tuneup. And we ran into two of my friends there, so we chatted for awhile.

Snow White - It's a great place. We spend lots of time there. Fortunately, not too much money (knock on wood) ;)

Megryansmom - Sadly, I did way more than what was actually on that list, too. And I didn't crack open a book. Of course now that's why I actually had a productive day.

Karen - Not true, not true -- I haven't opened it yet. Yet :)

septembermom - I get SOOOO much more done when I make a to do list. I also did laundry, made up all the labels for our donations, picked up donations, dropped off and picked up my bike for a tuneup, dropped off my husband's bike, made dinner, etc. I didn't, however, do any weeding. It rained again. :)

Angie - I wasn't! Because I didn't open it. I decided I have to finish my other book first. And get some of my to do items, too!

RAS - NO. No, I have not. Wow you all have so little faith in me :)

Angela - You've mentioned that. Two was definitely not as good as One, so I'm glad to hear that Three and Four are better!

Brenda - I did except for the weeding (plus some). But the weeding I blame someone else for.
